ISABELLA NUNNINK
Step inside Dylan’s technicolour universe, a moving tribute that celebrates the joy and light this young man brought into the world. Witness a kaleidoscope of hues that pulse, beat and change on loop, representing the colour and beauty Dylan brought into the artist’s life.
Hi! I’m Izzy, a multifaceted artist working with oil paint, acrylics, gouache, watercolor, and digital illustration. My artistic journey is deeply influenced by the vivid and intricate realms of psychedelic and visionary art, the bold lines and forms of tattoo art, and the precision and depth of traditional realism.
My passion for art was nurtured during my studies at Hillcrest Christian College, where I first delved into visual arts. I further honed my skills by completing a Certificate III in Visual Arts and a Certificate III in Design Fundamentals. Currently, I’m expanding my creative repertoire by pursuing a Diploma in Graphic Design. My work has been recognized and celebrated in various venues. Notably, my paintings were exhibited as a finalist in the prestigious 2016 D’Arcy Doyle Art Awards. My art has also graced the walls of several cafes on the Gold Coast, including Millers Espresso, and can be found in numerous personal collections.
The central theme of my work is the exploration of the human condition. I skillfully portray the spectrum of emotions I experience in my personal life, inviting viewers to connect with the profound and often universal feelings captured in my art. Beyond visual art, I am a true creative spirit with a diverse array of interests, I enjoy DJing, cooking, weightlifting, and singing. My previous background in the music industry, particularly in classical singing, enriches my artistic expression and provides a unique perspective that I bring to my visual art. Although I do not have any upcoming exhibitions or projects at the moment, my continued dedication to my craft and my diverse interests promise a vibrant and evolving artistic career. My journey is a testament to my relentless pursuit of creativity and expression in all its forms.
